FOD Mobility Group, a leader in multi-platform mobility technology, has once again been recognised at the Northern Tech Awards, marking the fifth consecutive year the company has featured in the Top 100 Fastest Growing Tech Companies. The 2024 edition of this prestigious event was held at the majestic Manchester Cathedral on April 20th, hosted by renowned technology advisory and investment firm, GP Bullhound.
Over 300 influential CEOs, entrepreneurs, and business leaders from across the global tech community attended this year’s ceremony to honour the northern UK’s technology sector's remarkable achievements. The event showcased the record-setting revenue achievements and the entrepreneurial spirit driving the region's tech enterprises.
The 2024 awards recognised businesses based on their revenue growth over the last three years, with a special focus on the innovative and resilient nature of these companies during challenging trading conditions.
The event highlighted that the Software sector has seen an 8% growth over the past year, reaching an overall growth rate of 30%, with our sector becoming the most dominant in the top 100 list due to a surge in new entries. This year's top 100 generated the highest total revenue on record, underscoring the calibre of the region's entrepreneurs.
A distinguished panel of judges, including Nancy Cruickshank, Richard Faulkner, Jonathan Fitchew, Richard Flint, Paul Gouge, Jane Haxby, Adam Hildreth, Richard Ibbett, Paul Johnson, Dr. Poonam Malik, David Moss, Steve Oliver, Jenny Parker, Avisha Patel, Simon Pearson, Mark Robinson, and Liz Scott, brought a wealth of experience and insight to the deliberation process.
